I will start with who I am. From the world's point of view I am an accountant/co-owner of 3 businesses (with my husband); a real estate firm, a fitness center and a CPA Firm. Yep, that's what we do. I am a mother of two, a boy and a girl. I live in the suburbs, and just to top off the suburban cliché, we have a labradoodle and drive a Honda Odyssey. ;)
However, I have learned through the last few years that my identity lies in none of these things. My identity is not in what I do, what I've done, what's been done to me or what other people think of me. No, my identity is in what Christ has done for me on the Cross! As a result of him pouring out his love on that rugged cross and taking on the punishment we all deserve, we can be offered the gift of grace that we do not deserve, and those who trust in him are clothed in the Robe of Righteousness. So, as one who has accepted this gift I humbly wear this robe, and am forever grateful and in awe of the fact that my identity no longer lies in what I've done, not done or what has been done to me or in what others think....but in what HAS BEEN DONE for us!! Let me tell you there is glorious freedom in this! Freedom to love. Freedom to give. Freedom to glorify the one who has loved us enough to offer this gift. Freedom to be courageous. Freedom to let fear go. Freedom To Truly Live!

"God Made Him who knew no sin to become sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God."~2 Cor. 5:21
"I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." ~Isaiah 61:10
